30 Day Challenge // Day 24 // Something That Represents our Favorite Culture
I’m Buddhist and I’ve always loved the imagery even before I was. The wrathful deities from Tibetan and Mahayana art always fascinated me as a kid. They were like transformations the gods took on in battle. Like a monster magical girl I guess. His is name is Mahakala. Power Prism Make Up.
Why did Fall Out Boy not make this an actual thing?
when i met tyler posey, he signed my cast photo and then wrote “scott” right after his name. after my friend and i questioned why he did that, he said “just in case you forgot.” he was definitely joking, but at the same time, he really wasn’t. because i said “dude, none of us would ever forget. we love you. you’re the main character! you’re /the/ teen wolf! the show would not exist or be the same without you!” and he looked at me in absolute shock and was quiet for a few seconds before he said “thank you so much” as if he was so used to being pushed aside that even /he/ forgot he was the main character.
and that says everything.
"the eternal vow between you and I"
A sketch I may or may mess around with further. Kill la Kill is definitely one of my favorite shows airing right now. I can’t get enough each week.

Javier Pérez: En Puntas (2013)
Video installation of variable measurements comprising:
Sculpture: pointe shoes, stainless steel knives
Video projection: HD blu-ray, with sound, screened on a wall
A ballerina, whose pointe shoes are extended by a set of sharp kitchen knives, dances and twirls insistently until reaching exhaustion, fighting to maintain balance on the lid of a grand piano set on a stage. The theatre with its red velvet warm lighting, resembles an oversized music box. The camera turns around the dancer revealing the opposite side of the room: an empty and painfully bare theatre.
The ballerina appears as an eerie figure expressing effort, sacrifice and pain in her strive for perfection. Both fragile and cruel. Initially shy and hesitant, her steps become more and more emphatic, menacing and not exempt of violence, scraping and cutting into the delicate surface of the piano with her sharp pointe shoes.
Through this work, Javier Perez investigates and reflects once again upon the human condition. Using a strongly metaphorical language rich in powerful symbolism, he reveals the weaknesses that become the boundaries between seemingly irreconcilable concepts such as: beauty and cruelty, fragility and violence, culture and nature or life and death.

Romance Was Born Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear
I’ll just leave it like this, although i originally planned to draw their Digimon in the background. But i want to continue working on Izzy’s portrait, since he’s my favourite. Also i think leaving these paintings a little “rough” fits the mood better. °V°
holy shit these are amazing
